Dental Hygiene

What best for your teeth?

09/14/2005

Question:

Is using Baking Soda better than using Tooth Paste?

Answer:

What is most important is using a toothpaste with fluoride!  Then it is a matter of personal preference as to whether you use a toothpaste with baking soda or not.  The use of baking soda "claims" to help the gums.  There is not a whole lot of research backing this up.  The greatest benefit from toothpaste is the addition of fluoride to help prevent tooth decay.
