Rash with blisters09/07/2005 |
I would like to know about a rash with blisters that are weeping on the legs. Feet and legs are swollen. What could it be.
You did not provide us with much history, your age, your occupation, the duration of your eruption, and other medical conditions. The eruption might be as simple as poison ivy, poison oak or poison sumac with redness, vesicles and blisters or might be related to drug eruptions, bullous lichen planus, bullous pemphigoid, etc.
In order to establish an accurate diagnosis you must see a board certified dermatologist so that a careful medical review can be accomplished, a focused history can be obtained and appropriate laboratory procedures performed so that the diagnosis can be established and subsequent appropriate therapy can be instituted.
Please see your board certified dermatologist at your earliest convenience. Don't allow these damaged legs to become secondarily infected. Infection could jeopardize your health severely.
