Bone Growth In Teenagers02/20/2006 |
Hi, my son is about 17 and 6 months old. He has gained height in his teenage years, but I am worried that he hasn't gained bone mass and he is a boy after all which means they are suppost to get more muscle. Can you tell me why this or is he still growing?
Many boys grow taller before they add muscle mass in their teenage years. Review his eating pattern and encourage him to eat healthy foods. Check with his doctor about his growth pattern.
