Blood in urine day after `stomach flu`03/03/2006 |
On Wednesday I woke up with vomiting and diarrhea, lasted all day, by afternoon added headache, fever, joint pain (especially knees), and pains in abdomen. All gone by Thursday except residual back pain, but since then very dark urine from blood. Could that have been caused by the Tuesday illness?
It is difficult to state whether the two are related but because of blood in the urine you should be evaluated to identify a cause. Your primary care physician should be able to perform an analysis of your urine which is a simple test and determine if further evaluation is warranted.
