i have copd and was told i have lupus could my problem also be linked to pulmonary fibrosis?
Yes. Lupus can cause pulmonary fibrosis, and the symptoms of pulmonary fibrosis can be very similar to symptoms of COPD. However, the two conditions are treated very differently. Your physician can usually distinguish between the two with x-rays (for example, a high resolution chest CT) or pulmonary function tests.
