A Decrease in PSA Over a Few Days03/27/2006 |
A friend of mine had a PSA result of 5.0 on Tuesday, retested on Friday and PSA had dropped to 4.2. He is having another screen this Thursday. Your thoughts on this please.
With those values most would agree that a prostate biopsy should be performed assuming however that the patient is in good health and not in the range of 80 years or older.
