Herpes treatment05/23/2006 |
My boyfriend has had a bad outbreak for 3 months now. He is on Valtrex which stopped the infection but now the scabs are not healing. One day it looks to get better, the next it looks bad again. Why will the scabs not heal over? What can he do to get fully better?
I think he should see a doctor in order to confirm or refute the diagnosis. It is possible he has something other than herpes.
