Spiral Fracture In the Fermur
The mother says she hit the child in the thigh with the palm of her hand. The child suffered a short oblique fracture to upper 1/3rd & lower 2/3 of her femur. Is the injury consistent with her description of how it occurred? The mother says she thought she did not hit the child very hard.
To have this injury properly diagnosed, you will need to consult a health professional.
