Tender spot on spine04/10/2006 |
I`m a 39 year old female. I have a tender spot on my spine. Even the lightest touch can elicit a mild pain response. It feels like it`s bruised yet, there is no discoloration or surface trauma. Should I be concerned? What may be causing this? I recently had an MRI of my lower spine and they said I have some disc degeneration that is manifesting as a bulge in the L5 lumbar spine. Although my current pain is higher in the spine, do you suspect it might be something similar causing this tender spot? Any information would be appreciated. Thank you.
To have these symptoms properly diagnosed, you will need to see a health professional. You may require a physical examination.
