05/23/2006

Question:

I heard that an eary sign of HIV or AIDS is a bump or knot that forms on your forehead and doesn’t go away. Is this true?

Answer:

The early symptoms of HIV infection include fevers, night sweats, arthralgias, myalgias, sore throat, and a rash. A bump on the forehead is not one of the early signs of HIV.
