Prostate Cancer

Effect of Sex on Prostate

05/01/2006

Question:

Does frequent or infrequent orgasm increase or decrease the Prostate or what effect does it have?

Have had large prostate and am very concerned.

Answer:

There have been some studies showing that an earlier onset of sexual activity and more frequent partners may have a role in the development of prostate cancer but the frequency of activity does not seem to play a role with the development of the disease.
