Thyroid Nodule and Ear Clog05/01/2006 |
I recently went to an ENT because of a blocked right ear. My ear "popped" over a month ago and has not unpopped all the way. While in my visit the doctor discovered a lump on my right thyroid. I have an ultrasound scheduled, but I was wondering if the lump might be the cause of my ear blocking? Does this mean the lump whatever it may be has spread to my ear passages? The lump is in the bottom of my throat where my collar bone comes together
Anatomically the tube that drains your ear is not close to your thyroid gland. Your ear popping is probably not related to your thyroid nodule.
