Dry skin05/23/2006 |
Im 16 and for a few years now i have had dry skin on my face. It`s bad because everytime i have a shower my skin on my face goes bright white and becomes easy to peel off. What does that happen?. I have tried a few moisturizers but it seems everytime i add them, i have a shower later that night and the moisturizer i added becomes visible on the top layer of my skin. I doesnt seem to be sinking in my skin and moisturizing. Can you help me?
The problem you have described is very unusual. You need to see a board certified dermatologist who can examine you thoroughly, take a thorough history, particularly a family history of similar problems, and if necessary take a small piece of tissue to see what the problem really is. I seriously doubt that it is just "dry skin".
