Jaw replacement surgery05/18/2006 |
I am scheduled to have my right jaw replaced due to TMJ on May 25, 2006. I am really afraid and everything I`ve read on the internet have not been helpful. Is there a website that tells me everything I need to know about the surgery from start to finish.
Unfortunately, there is no website available that will tell you everything about what you are about to have done. A frank open discussion with your surgeon is certainly the best way to get the answers you are looking for. The American Society of TMJ Surgeons has a website with a fair bit of information that may be useful to you. There are also some links to other sites that may complement the information they provide. The URL is as follows: http://www.astmjs.org/
I hope this helps.
