Prilosec with actonel05/31/2006 |
I quit taking Fosamax after about 7 weeks because of heartburn, burping, etc. The doctor now put me on once a week Actonel and told me to take one Prilosec a day. Is this a usual prescription? Will I need to continue to take Prilosec with the Actonel indefinitely? I just started the Actonel.
Some people are able to stop the Prilosec when the reflux settles down. Try to determine which foods and beverages cause reflux for you and avoid them. Do not take the Prilosec at the same time as the Actonel.
