Not going back to normal after dilated exam05/24/2006 |
after 7 hrs my daughters eyes are still dilated and hurt. is there anything to make them go back to normal quicker?
The most common dilation drops usually wear off after 4-6 hours. But if the patient has light-colored irises, the effect may last a little longer.
If her eyes are still dilated and hurt after 24 hours, call your eye doctor.
