Face and Jaw Surgery

Asymmetry of jaw bone

my jaw bone has grown asymmetical. the right side of my jaw has grown longer than the left side which has caused my jaw to have a slight twice. i would like to know what are my options. and what what you recommed.

There are be several reasons why this can occur.  Most commonly it is related to a growth discrepancy, but in other instances it could be caused by a pathologic process.

I recommend an evaluation by an oral and maxillofacial surgeon and an orthodontist, to determine the cause and the treatment needed for its correction.
