Lower left back pain in area of kidney06/17/2006 09:48PM |
In the past month I have had two bouts of pain in that area in the middle of the night. Both while truning over. The last was excruciating. I have had three L3/L4 surgeries for left leg pain and it seems entirely different and more severe than what I have experienced with those medical issues. The pain leaves in less than a minute. On a pain scale of 1-10, I place this as a 9 and would pass out if it lasted longer. The last one took me to my knees. It does not feel like a cramp and feels to be deep in the back. No discoloration of urine has been noted and no similar pains in other areas have occured.
It is impossible to diagnose conditions over the internet, however the problems that you describe could be related to your previous area of surgery, however unlikely.
