Procedure for Implants06/22/2006 |
In a question dated 1/5/2001, the expert referred to "low speeds and cool temperatures in placing contemporary dental implants" as a concern for the patient. Could you explain what is meant by this statement? Thanks
Precautions are routinely taken to prevent overheating the tissues where implants are placed. This optimizes the health of the bone and promotes better healing and long-term success.
