Stroke

Noises from the brain

07/05/2006

Question:

Sometimes I hear crackling and popping sounds from my brain, is this something serious?

Answer:

To have these symptoms properly diagnosed, you will need to see a health professional. You may require a physical examination.  In general, "cracking and popping" sounds do not come from the brain, but from other tissues such as joints.
