Can 14-18 Year Old Kids Get Prostate Cancer?08/01/2006 |
I recently was reading on the web and found out that men get prostate cancer and I was wondering does kids 13-18 year old kids get prostate cancer? I have a brother that is 14 and he says that he might have prostate cancer and he is very scared. So I looked up prostate cancer symptoms and found out there were a few symptoms of if you have prostate cancer or not!
It would be extremely unusual for a 14 year old to develop prostate cancer. More likely would be prostatitis which is inflammation of the prostate. Certainly if there is any concern he should see a Urologist for an appropriate evaluation.
