08/29/2006

Question:

Are there any benefits to gargling with listerine? How many times a day is best? How many seconds each time

Answer:

Listerine is not recommended for use by the elderly because of its alcohol contents and phenolic compounds, since alcohol dries the soft tissue of the mouth.
