Discontinuing use of carb/levo

Question:

Last October, my 1st neurologist prescribed carb/levo for my Parkinsonism(?). I took it faithfully until this August when, after moving 250 miles away, I acquired a new neurologist who, after checking me out, requested that I discontinue the use of carb/levo.

Which neurologist should I trust?

Answer:

I'm sorry, but it sounds like your problem is more extensive than what can be addressed in a general forum like this one. You may want to seek a second opinion if you are not satisfied with what you are being told by your current health care provider. You might consider a referral to a Parkinson's disease expert for another opinion, if there is one available in your area.  A movement disorder specialist focuses much time on Parkinson's disease and so may be able to sort out the confusion regarding your situation.
