Actonel use

Question:

I have been taking actenol once a week for about 8-9 months. I am experiencing intense hip and leg pain and wonder if there is a relationship between the drug and my pain.

Answer:

There can be many reasons for hip and leg pain (pinched nerve, disk problem, etc).  You can always discontinue the Actonel for a month to see if the pain resolves.  Once it resolves, you can try the medication once more to be sure the improvement was not just a coincidence.
