Erectile Dysfunction (ED)

Size of my husbands penis is shrinking

09/20/2006 04:22PM

Question:

My husband (age 39) is concerned that his penis size is shrinking compared to a few years ago. Even the size when he isn`t erect is much smaller.

He did have varicocele surgery 2 years ago. Could this have caused this to happen? He`s concerned that some of the blood flow has been cut off.

Answer:

Your husband may undergo vascular testing of the penis to check the vascular integrity of the blood supply. It is difficult to comment on the penile size. It is unlikely that the varicocele surgery had an effect.
