Back Pain and Acupuncture

10/19/2006

Question:

I think I have torn a muscle in my lower back. It has been four weeks since I did it and little improvement. Can acupuncture help this injury?

Answer:

Yes, acupuncture, chiropractic and sports massage can often resolve the type of back pain you describe. Omega-3 fish oil taken 4 times a day, plus magnesium oxide can often quiet down the inflammatory reaction that would be present at this time if deemed appropriate by your personal doctor.
