Menopause

Menopause and a period after 2 years without

11/13/2006

Question:

Is it normal to have a menstral cycle after not having one for 2 years? I am 42 years old and was told I was in early menopause 1 year ago

Answer:

No, it is not considered normal to resume bleeding after two years of no bleeding.  You should check with your clinician to be sure there is no other reason for the bleeding.
