High Blood Pressure

HBP and gall bladder

11/03/2006

Question:

Is high blood preasure related to gall bladder problems. My son has had one scan and no gall stones?

Answer:

There is no known direct connection between gall stones and blood pressure.  Abdominal pain can increase the blood pressure, but it should become normal again once the acute episode is resolved.
