Is breast soreness part of menopause?11/13/2006 |
I just had a breast exam and a mammogram and both were fine. Now my breasts are sore. One more than the other. If I press on the nipple and rub I can feel the soreness. At times they are more sore than others. I am going through menopause and want to know if this is normal?
It is very common for women to experience breast tenderness as they approach menopause. The tenderness is attributed to the more pronounced fluctuations in estrogen levels.
