Hydrocele11/06/2006 |
Hello,I would like to find out what a hydro seal is & what are the causes of it.Also can it be dangerous if untreated?
Hydroceles are very common in children. Many children can be born with them. These typically are noted on physical examination by the appearance of "water" around the testicles. These rarely cause any problems and often will go away. Older children can develop hydroceles where the swelling seems to fluctuate, getting bigger and smaller throughout the day. This is actually a sign of a form of a hernia and should be corrected with surgery.
