Prostate Cancer |
Blood in Urine for Someone With Prostate Cancer11/27/2006 |
My husband has had prostate cancer for several years and the last 6 months has been having blood in his urine. Now he is passing blood clots. Also, they have been preventing him from urinating. He now has a catheter. Could you tell me if this blood is coming from the prostate and if so should his blood count show a problem?
There is no way to know where the blood is coming from without an evaluation. It could be coming from his prostate but it could also be from other causes. He should be evaluated by his Urologist.
