Protienuria and heamaturia in child06/12/2007 |
My son is 22 months old. He is having protien and ocult blood in urine. Protien and creatinine ratio is 3.5. Nephrologist performed kidney biopsy. All the reports came normal and prescribed ACE inhibitors (lisnopril). Still we don`t know what the problem is. What could be the problem? Because of the protien leak is there any problem in the future? We started of this medication 20 days ago. After 10 days of the medication the ratio is same. Please advise what to do. Thanks
This problem would be answered best by a pediatric nephrologist, not a pediatric urologist.
