Can I take acne med while pregnant
the active ingredient is Sulfer6.4% Inactive ingredients: MSM, Almond Oil, Aloe Vera, Apricot Oil, Calendula Oil, Vegetable Glycern, Jojoba Oil, Australian Tea Tree Oil, Vitamins A,E,D
I am not aware of any studies showing the safety of any of the therapies for acne in humans during pregnancy. There are some that are used based on the severity of the acne and only if medically indicated.
For this problem, I would recommend you not use any active medicated acne preparations without checking with your OB or dermatologist. Based on the severity of your acne, they can recommend something that would be right for you.
