How Long Does it Take for Lupron to Lower the PSA Level?01/24/2007 |
After Lupron is precribed how long should it take to see results of lower PSA? Do you recomend Chemo, next. PSA is 25 at present.
Lupron reduces PSA in a few weeks if the patient has never been exposed to it or a similar drug before. The next step could be chemotherapy but secondary forms of endocrine therapy, investigative drug trials and investigative immunization therapy are options.
