Hemochromatosis |

my mother-in-law was recently dx with this diease.She is jaundiced and has had a paracentesis from ascites.would this be end stage liver? at this point in time the prognosis i suppose is bleak?
We cannot make a prediction on how this patient will do. However, patients with hemochromatosis do develop cirrhosis with significant problems due to this.
