Loss of feeling01/31/2007 |
Two days ago I woke with numbness in my right arm from the elbow down and the loss of grip in my hand. From what I can tell there has been no change.
It is very important that you seek medical attention, such as by calling your primary care physician or going to be evaluated at an Emergency Room. While it may not truly be an emergency, since the symptoms have been present and unchanged for 2 days, it is important to determine what happened as quickly as possible. It is possible that you have had a stroke, and if so we want to determine why it happened and take whatever measures are necessary to prevent another one from happening.
