I have pain in my left side right below my rib cage can you tell me what this is?
Without a full history and physical examination it is very difficult to figure out the source of the pain. Likely causes include the ribs (costochondritis), the muscles of the abdominal wall (spasm) or an internal abdominal process. You should have an evaluation by your physician.
