What happens in a neurological work-up02/15/2007 |
My doctor wants to do a neurological work-up, because of numbness and heaviness in my legs. I also have dizziness. What is involved in a work-up? Is anything other than an MRI done? Is it invasive?
It is impossible for me to predict what tests your doctor will order, since I do not have the benefit of taking a full history and doing a full physical exam. As such, I cannot comment on whether testing ordered is appropriate or not either.
I believe that this topic is best discussed with your local physician.
