Two small calcified cysts in one lung02/26/2007 |
Could two small calcified cysts in one lung be malignant ?I think they have been there for a quite a long time.
If a spot in the lung is completely filled with calcium, then it is benign. Some cancers in the lung have some calcium in them; however, if the spots have not changed in size over 2 years, they are very unlikely to be malignant.
