Nexium vs. Omeprazole03/21/2007 10:53PM |
I switched from Nexium to Omeprazole because of the huge difference in my cost in Medicare Plan D. Nexium advertising claims that it repairs one`s esophagus. I have Barrett esophagus resulting from long term acid reflux disease. Is Omeprazole essentially the same as Nexium, or does Nexium work differently or better, like repairing one`s esophagus?
They are essentially the same. Everyone responds differently. Some prefer Prevacid. Some Nexium. Some Prilosec. All are great at healing the esophagus.
