Ear, Nose, and Throat Disorders

Calcium deposits in the inner/middle ear.

04/03/2007

Question:

I suffer from vertigo. After extensive testing about 5 years ago, it was determined that there was free floating calcium (rocks) in the ear. At that time, the audiologist performed some manipulations of my head that really helped. Can you please give me the steps to this procedure? All I remember is that I need to be on my back with my head off the bed and then???? It really worked and I can`t believe that I don`t remember! Thanks for your help.

Answer:

I would search for Epley Maneuver on the Internet.

That will give you the answer.
