Myoma04/24/2007 |
Iam 47 years old, 155 cm height, 55 kg`s weight. My problems is the doctor found out that I have 1 uterine myoma 2 cm size. Is it has to be removed surgical or there is another option to treat the myoma. As I`ve read on internet that the myoma or uterine fibroid can be shrinked after you have your menopause. I`am considering my age is already 47, no longer I`ll have my menopause. Thank you very much.
Fibroids do not have to be removed if they are not causing you any problems. Many women have small fibroids like yours that never cause any problems. If the fibroid is in the cavity of the uterus and causing bleeding problems, it may be possible to remove it with a hysteroscope.
