Central incisors04/25/2007 |
Hi, I have a 7 year old son whose front central incisor has broken a bit and cracked after a fall from his bike. (his baby tooth (incisor has already fallen out). i want to know if his incisor is going to grow back if i will have it pull it out. hope to get a reply soon.
When a tooth fractures, none of it "grows back". It's important to see your dentist to evaluate the broken tooth and to see if there is damage to any adjacent teeth. Even a minor injury can sometimes damage the nerves and blood vessels in the center of the tooth, so have your son see a dentist soon.
