White discharge from pulled tooth -normal?04/26/2007 |
I had my molar pulled three days ago. Now there is a white thick discharge coming from it. I am in no pain as of yet. Is this normal?
It could be part of the healing process for the tissue. If they gave you a special rinse I would use that to irrigate it. It also could be getting infected. Try the rinse or warm water for a couple of days. If it still persists, call the dentist.
