Light period05/01/2007 |
I just had my period, I spotted for 1 day before, had a very light period for 1 day and then spotted the next day. This has been going on for a couple of months. My husband and I have not had sex since 2/13/07. He has not shown any interst. I have took several home test to see if I am having a baby. Two showed very faint positive lines and the other 3 were negative. Could I have a STD? I have been faithful to my husband and have brought up the subject of sex, but he always has some reason not to. I am 33 and he is 34, so I know this is not normal. He has been home late from work several times and always has a poor excuse! I am more concerned now about an STD than about a baby. I don`t have any signs like I did with our son, so I don`t know what to think. Please help!
If you are having regularly spaced periods, but just lighter, then you have less to worry about. This is not a sign of an STD. With an STD you might have vaginal discharge, itching, odor, pelvic pain and irregular or increased bleeding. On the other hand, you may not have any symptoms so if you are worried about an STD, you should be tested for them.
