My 7-year old son was recently diagnosed with ADHD-mixed. What does the `mixed` part of the diagnosis mean?
Although personally I think there many varieties of ADHD, officially there are three kinds of ADHD. They are:
- INATTENTIVE
- HYPERACTIVE/IMPULSIVE
- MIXED
Mixed means your son has both inattentive and hyperactive impulsive symptoms.
