Bass technique tooth brushing

Question:

i have a project about the bass technique tooth brushing can you pls help me!

Answer:

The bass technique is based on the fact that the area most involved in gum disease is the gingival margin.  You position the bristles of the toothbrush at a 45 degree angle up for the top teeth or down for the bottom teeth, against the gums.  You are actually placing the end of the bristles into the space between the gum and the tooth. You then press lightly and vibrate the brush back and forth with very short strokes without disengaging the tips of the toothbrush from the space between the gum and the tooth. You basically cover 2-3 teeth at a time.  You repeat this process until all the fronts and backs of the teeth have been covered.
