Question?06/18/2007 |
Hi, I am a 54 year old lady who had a hysterectomy, I was on premarin ans they took me off of it, the thing is I have hot flash and it really bother me. Is there any medication that can help me with the hot flash. Another question is how long am I going to be with the menapause.
The natural course of hot flashes is to become milder and less frequent over time. That time course varies from person to person. If you feel you need treatment for the hot flashes and do not want to take hormones, consider one of the selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors such as Effexor, Prozac, and Paxil.
