Burst vein06/05/2007 |
I am 58 years old and have had a burst vein in the wrist and ankle. It starts with a bee-like sting and then the vein is big and bleeds out under the skin The ankle burst vein has left the vein very noticible and the foot aches sometimes. What causes this and what can I do to improve the foot and will it happen again? I have taken Effortil tablets for many years - don`t know if this is a problem? I would appreciate some advice please
I am not familiar with the use of Effortil for this problem. You may have a problem with venous insufficiency and the valves in the veins in the legs. Would ask your primary care physician to take a look?
