Root Canals |

My dentist says that my root canal has split or broken in half and that the tooth now needs to be pulled and a bridge will be needed. Isn`t there any way to repair my current root canal?
Unfortunately, if the root of the tooth has cracked or split down the long axis of the root (vertically), there is no way to repair it. However, if the root has cracked horizontally there are some techniques to maintain the tooth, depending on the depth of the fracture. These types of cracks generally occur due to trauma.
